Empowering Trauma-Informed Care
Our team has been traveling across the country, working with social care teams to support children, teenagers, and adults who have experienced trauma. Our workshops focus on practical strategies, sensory interventions, and enhancing trauma awareness. By understanding how trauma impacts the body, we empower caregivers to provide stronger therapeutic support.
Community Engagement and Wellness
From wellness festivals to workshops on anxiety and rejection sensitivity dysphoria, we’re committed to building resilience and breaking down barriers to living a fulfilled life. Our collaboration with AsIam focuses on the impact of trauma in school settings, particularly for the autistic community, ensuring that all young people have the support they need.
New Therapeutic Spaces
Our new clinic offers a serene and supportive environment for teenagers and adults to embark on their healing journeys. We’re dedicated to providing both in-clinic and community-based services, with exciting workshops planned for March and April. Stay tuned for more details!
Bridging Gaps in Mental Health
We’ve been honoured to deliver university workshops highlighting how occupational therapy bridges the gap in mental health recovery. Sharing this knowledge with masters psychology students at UCC is a crucial step in fostering a holistic approach to treatment.
Looking Ahead
As summer approaches, we’re eager to incorporate water-based activities like paddleboarding into our therapeutic offerings. These activities not only promote physical health but also support mental well-being.
Our Vision
Our mission is to help individuals break negative patterns and reframe their self-perception through evidence-based practices. By examining environmental impacts and fulfilling occupations, we aim to support individuals in living meaningful lives. Our bottom-up approach focuses on regulation, enabling clients to activate parts of their minds that may be currently inaccessible.
